This policy explains what information dbayutravel.com (“we”, “us”) collects and how it’s used.

What we collect

We don’t ask you to create an account and we don’t collect your name or email unless you email us directly.

Like most websites, we may use:

  • Analytics to understand which pages are popular. This collects anonymous usage data such as pages viewed, referring site, browser type and approximate country.
  • Affiliate links. When you click a link to a partner such as a hotel or activity booking site, that partner may set cookies to track whether a booking was made, so we can earn a commission. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites.
  • Partner widgets. Some pages show a booking widget from a partner such as Klook (for example, a list of hotels). The widget is loaded from the partner’s servers, so they receive your IP address and browser details and may set cookies, under their own privacy policy.
  • Advertising. If we show ads, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.

Data protection

If you’re in Malaysia, the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) applies. If you’re in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to access or delete data we hold about you. Email [email protected] for any privacy request.
